Crystal Palace secured their Premier League status with a 4-0 win at home to Hull City.

The Eagles got the perfect start by taking the lead after just three minutes when a missed clearance by defender Andrea Ranocchia allowed Wilfried Zaha through and fire into the back of the net.

Christian Benteke made it 2-0 on 34 minutes by heading in Jason Puncheon's cross for his 17th of the season to put Palace into the driving seat.

They got the third goal with a penalty by Luka Milivojevic with five minutes remaining after Michael Dawson took down Jeffrey Schlupp in the area.

And Palace added gloss to the scoreline with a fourth goal in the last minute from Patrick van Aanholt who converted fellow sub James McArthur's pass.

The result condemned Hull City to relegation and means Palace are finally safe from relegation after a frantic couple of weeks of uncertainty.
