Crystal Palace conceded a very late goal to lose 2-1 at home to relegation rivals Swansea City.
Just as it looked like the Eagles had salvaged a much-needed point after Wilfried Zaha's impressive equaliser, Swansea netted a dramatic winner with just two minutes remaining.
New Eagles boss Sam Allardyce now has an immense job on his hands to get a Palace side that's severely lacking confidence back firing again.
Swansea were the only side that looked likely to score in the first half and Palace's only chance of note was a penalty claim when Christian Benteke tangled with keeper Lukasz Fabianski.
And they conceded yet another set-piece on 42 minutes after Gylfi Sigurdsson's cross was nodded in by an unmarked Alfie Mawson.
An injured Benteke was replaced at half-time by Fraizer Campbell – and Andros Townsend was swapped for Bakary Sako shortly after – and Palace showed much more urgency.
A Sako free-kick was pushed over by Fabianski and Palace then drew level in the 83rd minute with a brilliant scissor-kick goal from Zaha who dispatched Martin Kelly's cross.
Substitute Leroy Fer then dissected the Eagles defence with an inch-perfect ball over the top and Angel Rangel rounded Wayne Hennessey to break Palace's hearts and give Swansea maximum points.
