Joe Ledley
Crystal Palace were defeated 2-1 by 10-man Liverpool after conceding a controversial stoppage-time penalty.
Christian Benteke made a blatant dive in the area following the faintest of touches by Damien Delaney and got up to put away the spot-kick.
The result means Palace have now gone 12 games without a victory in the Premier League and are in danger of slipping into a relegation battle.
Alan Pardew's men started well when Emmanuel Adebayor fed Yannick Bolasie whose shot as well smothered by Simon Mignolet before Adebayor headed against the bar.
Liverpool's best effort was a curler from Divock Origi that flew just over the bar.
The Eagles got themselves in front three minutes after the interval from Joe Ledley's first goal of the season. Liverpool failed to clear a corner and the ball eventually fell to Ledley who smashed a low shot into the bottom right corner.
They were handed a boost when James Milner was sent off after a second booking for a foul on Wilfried Zaha but the hosts failed to make the extra man count.
And Palace stopper Alex McCarthy, who was recalled for the injured Wayne Hennessey, allowed the Reds back into the game by slipping when attempting to clear a back pass to send the ball into the Firminio's path and he scored in an empty net on 72 minutes.
Alberto Moreno hit the post late on with a long-range shot before substitute Benteke's theatrics in stoppage time allowed Liverpool to win it.
