Crystal Palace go five games without a win in the Premier League with a 4-0 loss to Manchester City.

Palace had the first good opportunity of the game when Connor Wickham's cross from the left was met by Damien Delaney but his header was hit straight at Joe Hart.

City went ahead in the 22nd minute when Fabian Delph's long range shot squirmed past the diving Wayne Hennessey.

City then doubled their advantage through Sergio Aguero who's shot deflected off the head of Scott Dann into the net.

The second half didn't get any better for the Eagles when the home side went 3-0 up on 69 minutes when Aguero got his second of the game after a neat flowing move.

Marouane Chamakh, on in the second half for Connor Wickham, was yellow carded in the 71st minute for going down too easily in the box.

City finished Palace off on the break on 84 minutes when Aguero unselfishly passed the ball to David Silva who made no mistake from a few yards out to make it 4-0.

Palace huffed and puffed but found City too strong an opponent, and failed to carve out any clear cut chances.

Palace: Hennessey, Ward, Dann, Delaney, Souare, Ledley, Cabaye, McArthur (Mutch, 80), Puncheon, Zaha (Lee, 85), Wickham (Chamakh, 66)
