Crystal Palace staged a remarkable comeback from two goals down to win 3-2 at Burnley.

The victory continues new manager Alan Pardew's 100 per cent start after guiding the team to three straight triumphs.

A Palace side of old would have capitulated after conceding two goals inside the opening 16 minutes but not this one under Pardew.

The first goal arrived on 12 minutes when Kieran Trippier's corner was headed in at the back post by Ben Mee.

Four minutes later, Burnley's lead was doubled after Scott Arfield robbed Joel Ward on the touchline and set up Danny Ings to fire low into the net.

Dwight Gayle pulled a goal back on 28 minutes with a right-foot shot in a crowded Burnley penalty area.

Then three minutes into the second half, Jason Puncheon levelled the scores with a 25-yard shot that whistled into the bottom corner.

James McArthur denied the Clarets a goal with a brilliant goalline clearance. And Palace substitute Glenn Murray was inches away from scoring when his volley stuck the post.

Eagles hotshot Gayle continued his rich vein of form with a dramatic winner in the 87th minute, slotting in Puncheon's deep cross from the right to net his fourth goal in three games.
