Glenn Murray
Glenn Murray netted twice as Crystal Palace came from behind to claim a much-needed 2-1 win over local rivals Charlton.
The Eagles ended a run of just one victory from 11 matches and hope this is the start of a new winning streak as they chase automatic promotion.
They put in an awful display in the first half and deservedly went behind after 15 minutes thanks to former striker Ricardo Fuller's goal.
Fuller got on the end of a long ball over the top of the Palace defence and hit a low angled drive into the far corner of the net.
Charlton could have extended their lead as Julian Speroni saved from Bradley Pritchard and Johnnie Jackson, while another old Eagle Leon Cort, headed over the bar.
Ian Holloway sent on new loan signing Kevin Phillips for Jacob Butterfield after the interval, switching to a 442 formation.
That plus the addition of fellow on-loan forward Scott Dobbie and midfield schemer Jon Williams coming onto the pitch after 67 minutes for an ultra attacking game, lifted the Eagles.
And in the 75th minute the substitutions paid off as Murray snatched an equaliser for the hosts by converting Dean Moxey's pass.
Then four minutes later, Palace got an amazing winner when Jazz Richards set up Murray to fire past Ben Hamer in the Addicks goal.
