Glenn Murray
Crystal Palace secured a nice 3-0 derby win over 10-man Brighton to move back to the top of the Championship.
Glenn Murray bagged a brace against his old side, with Owen Garvan bagging another from the penalty spot for a comprehensive win.
The game changed after just eight minutes when Lewis Dunk brought down Yanick Bolasie on the edge of the area and was shown a straight red card.
Garven swung the resulting free-kick against the bar but it was only a matter of time before the Eagles made the extra man count.
They had to wait until seven minutes before half-time when Bolasie's corner was headed home by in-form Murray.
Brighton's Craig Mackail-Smith hit the post when clean through a minute after the break. But Palace doubled the lead from the spot on 54 minutes after Tomasz Kuszczak took down Murray in the area and the former Brighton star put away his 17th goal of the season.
Garven added some gloss to the scoreline in the 71st minute with another penalty after Gordon Greer brought down Murray in the area.
Palace brought an end to Brighton's seven-match unbeaten run and have now lost only one of their last 17, remaining unbeaten at home since the first day.
