Crystal Palace crashed to a 3-0 defeat to relegation strugglers Nottingham Forest.

Forest dominated the opening half an hour with Radoslaw Majewski, Dexter Blackstock and Andy Reid all having attempts on Julian Speroni's goal.

The Eagles came alive before the interval with Owen Garvan flashing a shot wide and Glenn Murray firing over the bar.

But the away team went ahead in the 53rd minute as Majewski collected Guy Moussi's perfect pass to rifle past Speroni.

Blackstock almost added another with a drive that shaved the bar, while Dean Moxey hooked an effort wide of the goal for the Eagles.

Forest doubled their advantage in the 72nd minute through Majewski from Garath McCleary's feed.

Ten minutes later, Majewski claimed his hat-trick with another superb finish, this time from Chris Gunter's assist.
