Crystal Palace were two goals up but conceded a stoppage time equaliser to draw 2-2 at Bristol City.

The Eagles looked safe for a first league win of 2012 when they went two goals ahead before City substitute Brett Pitman earned his team a point with a late double.

Palace went in front after 14 minutes when Wilfried Zaha cut inside and fired home his sixth goal of the season from 18 yards.

Stephen Pearson hit the woodwork for the Robins 10 minutes before the break before Palace increased their lead in the 69th minute.

Glenn Murray was fouled by Liam Fontaine in the penalty area and Darren Ambrose converted the spot-kick for his sixth goal of the campaign.

Pitman pulled a goal back on 77 minutes with a 25-yard free-kick and he scored another three minutes into injury time, blasting home from 18 yards after a long ball into the area.
