Crystal Palace secured their first away win since October with a 1-0 success at Hull City.

Australia international midfielder Mile Jedinak and Wilfried Zaha came in for the injured Owen Garvan and Kagisho Dikgacoi.

The Eagles went ahead in the 15th minute with their first major attack of the game. Norwegian winger Jonathan Parr sent over a cross from the right side of the penalty area and Hull defender James Chester diverted the ball into his own net under pressure from Jermaine Easter.

Julian Speroni made easy stops from Tom Cairney and Robert Koren before making a diving save to deny Matty Fryatt as Hull went in search of an equaliser.

Robbie Brady and Cairney had further attempts on goal but the hosts were unable to find a way past Speroni as Palace claimed a third win in a row.

Hull: Basso, Rosenior, Chester, Hobbs, Dudgeon, Koren, McKenna (Mclean 57), Evans, Cairney (Adebola 75), Brady (Barmby 64), Fryatt.

Not Used: Gulacsi, Dawson.

Palace: Speroni, Tunchev, McCarthy, McGivern, Wright, Zaha (Dorman 63), Parr, Ramage, Jedinak (Ambrose 75), Easter, Scannell (Andrew 87).

Not Used: Price, Williams.
