Jermaine Easter
Crystal Palace scored two last minute goals to earn a well-deserved 2-1 victory over Coventry City.
Palace spent almost the entire first period camped inside the Coventry half but despite Scannell forcing a save out of keeper Joe Murphy could not find the net.
But against the run of play, Coventry took an unlikely lead three minutes after the break through Lukas Jutkiewicz. Cyrus Christie sent over a cross from the right, and after the ball cannoned off on-loan Palace defender Peter Ramage, Jutkiewicz fired home.
Palace kept surging forward in search of a goal and it arrived in the 90th minute from Sean Scannell who converted from 12 yards after Wilfried Zaha's low angled shot was parried by Murphy.
Then in the fifth minute of stoppage time, Jermaine Easter put away another Murphy parry from Zaha to send the Selhurst Park fans into raptures.
