Crystal Palace remain in the bottom three after a 1-0 loss to Millwall.

Theo Robinson's second half strike was enough to seal all three points for the Lions.

Palace enjoyed most of the posession in the first half - Owen Garvan's early free kick caused problems in the box but Julian Bennett failed to connect with it.

Millwall did have their own chances though, with a couple of them falling to Steve Morison but his efforts were matched by Julian Speroni.

The lively Wilfried Zaha was causing Millwall problems, and almost assisted Pablo Counago with a goal when his run along the byline resulted in a fierce cross into the box that the Spaniard connected with but his effort went wide.

Paddy McCarthy had a great chance for himself shortly before half time when he blazed a shot over from 6 yards out.

Disappointingly Millwall went ahead in the 53 minute when Morison out muscled Bennett and his nod on found its way to Robinson who rounded Speroni and tucked the ball away from a tight angle.

Palace continued to create chances with Zaha involved a lot of the time, but the Eagles lacked any spark in front of goal.

Claude Davis was sent off for the second time this season in the 90th minute for alleged stamp.
