Crystal Palace move back in relegation danger after a 2-0 home to defeat to rivals QPR.

The match was held up straight from the kick-off when Rangers centre-half Damion Stewart clashed heads with Palace striker Calvin Andrew. Stewart had to go off injured, while Andrew soldiered on before being replaced later.

But Rangers, who started the match well, took an 11th minute lead through Akos Buzsaky who fired Hogan Ephraim's cross into the bottom corner 18 yards out.

The visitors extended their advantage on the hour mark when Kaspars Gorkss headed Adel Taarabt's corner past Julian Speroni.

Palace are now just a place and one point above the relegation zone with three matches left to play.

Palace: Speroni, Butterfield (Lee 58), McCarthy, Lawrence, Hill, Ambrose, Derry, Danns, Scannell, John, Andrew (Clyne 23), Lee (Ertl 70).

Not Used: Manns, Carle, Hills, Davis.

QPR: Cerny, Ramage, Stewart (Simpson 8), Gorkss, Tosic, Buzsaky, Leigertwood, Faurlin, Ephraim, Priskin, Taarabt (Parker 90).

Not Used: Putnins, Cook, Brown, Oastler, German.
