Luka Milivojevic
Crystal Palace captain Luka Milivojevic wants England to go all the way after his Serbia side were knocked out of the World Cup.
Serbia's 2-0 defeat to Brazil in their final group match meant they ended their campaign in third place and unable to make it to the next phase.
England are assured of a spot after their victories over Tunisia and Panama and Milivojevic says he has been impressed with Gareth Southgate's Three Lions.
"I watched them play against Costa Rica before the tournament because they were in our group, and I saw a very good tactical game from England," he said.
"They had good ball movement with all the players composed on the ball, playing three at the back and a lot of speed up front.
"For me, England can be a real surprise in this tournament, and I wish them luck to go further."
Serbia began the World Cup with a win over Costa Rica but a last-minute defeat to Switzerland dented their hopes and they lost to Brazil in their final game with Milivojevic dropped for it.
"We can take a lot of positives, we played OK in three games," added the 27-year-old. "We had a good beginning to the tournament, in the second game we should have taken a point and then we’ve played well against one of the best national teams in the world. I think that's positive.
"We were hoping that maybe one more shock could happen but that didn’t happen. It was a great experience for me."
