The big moments from Crystal Palace's 2017/18 campaign in glorious technicolour.
Palace fans are in positive mood ahead of the season opener against Huddersfield Town. But new manager Frank de Boer suffers a frustrating 3-0 home defeat to the newly-promoted Terriers.
Defender Mamadou Sakho joins from Liverpool to help shore up Palace's defence at the end of the summer transfer window.
De Boer only lasts five games at the helm after a winless start to the league campaign. In September, Palace turn to former England boss Roy Hodgson to take over as his replacement. His first game is a defeat at home to Southampton.
The following month, Palace finally register their first points with a 2-1 home triumph over London rivals Chelsea.
Palace then embark on an eight-game unbeaten run – starting with a 2-2 draw with Everton – to climb out of the relegation zone.
But on the last day of 2017, things turn sour as Scott Dann (above) and Jason Puncheon are stretchered off with cruciate knee-ligament injuries against Manchester City. For the early months of the new year, Palace had as many as 10 players unavailable and Hodgson described it as his worst injury crisis in management.
Just three players join in the January transfer window. Norway international striker Alexander Sorloth, midfielder Erdal Rakip and Polish defender Jaroslaw Jach. The latter two didn't play a single game.
With players finally returning from injury, Palace pick up some important points including a 3-2 derby win over Brighton.
There's fantastic news off the pitch as Croydon Council gives planning permission for a new Main Stand at Selhurst Park which will increase the stadium capacity to 34,000.
A brilliant 5-0 victory against Leicester City at the end of April comes as a huge boost in the team's battle to beat the drop.
And Hodgson's troops mathematically secure another season in the Premier League with a 2-1 victory at bottom-three side Stoke in their penultimate game.
