Andros Townsend
Andros Townsend is backing boss Roy Hodgson to turn Crystal Palace's season around.
The winger says the manager's half-time team talk helped inspire the Eagles to come back from two goals down to draw 2-2 at home to West Ham on Saturday.
Townsend started the revival by winning a penalty that Luka Milivojevic converted in the 50th minute and Wilfried Zaha rescued a point with a well-deserved stoppage-time equaliser.
"[At half-time, Hodgson] was positive, he said we were the better side again," said Townsend. "He gave us the belief that we can turn things and thankfully we did right at the end. He just said keep going and doing what you are doing and the goal will come."
With four points gleaned from their last three outings, Townsend believes that bottom-club Palace are on the right track under the former England head coach.
He added: "I think the last three games we have seen a different Crystal Palace. We played fantastically against Chelsea and got three points, did not got the result we deserved against Newcastle and on Saturday got the minimum we deserved.
"Having been 2-0 down with half an hour left, you would take a point. You have seen the difference since the manager came in. We have got a good side and we need to build on that and hopefully you will see us go on a run.
"This can give everyone a lift in the dressing room. It gives the fans a lift. We go home with a point and more belief than we had before. These last-minute goals can change seasons and hopefully that happens for us."
