Defender Brede Hangeland would like to see out the twilight of his career with Crystal Palace.
The giant centre back's one-year deal expires this month and he is keen to extend it after playing a valuable role last season.
Hangeland provided important experience at the heart of the defence, where he played 17 games and scored two goals, as the Eagles enjoyed another impressive campaign.
"We'll sit down and see if we can sort something out - I have really enjoyed it at Palace," said the Norwegian, who celebrates his 34th birthday later this month.
"First, it's a case of if they want me to stay and then we'll chat. There have been no discussions with the manager just yet, everyone has just been focusing on the last few games.
"There has been a little bit of contact with my agent and the club, but I have stayed out of it as much as possible.
"I have really enjoyed it at Palace, so if they want me to stay then we can hopefully sort something out.
"It's weird when you reach the end of your contract, there's always some weird and wonderful offers around, but we just need to see what happens."
