Julian Speroni
Crystal Palace keeper Julian Speroni has signed a new contract – but five players have been let go by the club.
Speroni, 36, has been at Selhurst Park since 2004 when he joined from Dundee and has his testimonial against his old club on Tuesday.
"I have one more season on my contract and am really enjoying playing in the Premier League," he said. "I’ve said many times this is my home, I will retire here if I can."
However, out-of-contract players Lewis Price, Owen Garvan, Peter Ramage, Stephen Dobbie and Jerome Thomas have not had their deals renewed.
Chairman Steve Parish said: "I would like to thank Peter, Owen, Lewis , Stephen and Jerome Thomas for their contributions during their time at the club and wish them well in the future.
"A special mention should go to Peter, Stephen and Owen who were especially important in our promotion season, and will be remembered fondly by Palace fans for years to come."
