Crystal Palace defender Paddy McCarthy has joined Bolton Wanderers on loan for the rest of the season.
The 31-year-old will be reunited with Eagles teammate Barry Bannan who has also been lent out to the Trotters.
McCarthy has only featured twice for Palace this season in the Capital One Cup win over Walsall and then the cup exit to Newcastle in the next round.
He got game time at Sheffield United from October till December where he made 11 appearances, scoring against Leyton Orient and getting sent off at Doncaster.
In February, West Brom boss Tony Pulis was prank called by Limavady United midfielder Blain Morrison who imitated Bolton manager Neil Lennon and Pulis recommended McCarthy to him.
