Glenn Murray has signed a one year extension to his contract at Crystal Palace.
The former Brighton striker has been at the club since 2011, and has scored 39 goals for the club.
Only one of those goals, a penalty last season against Swansea, has come in the Premier League, and Murray has struggled to secure a first team place since recovering from a serious knee injury, suffered in the play-off semi final against Brighton back in 2013.
He played 18 games for Reading on loan earlier this season, scoring 8 goals in the process, and will now be looking to get involved in the team more.
However he faces stiff competition for places up front with the recent signings of Yaya Sanogo and Shola Ameobi, along with Fraizer Campbell, Dwight Gayle and Marouane Chamakh.
His new contract keeps him at the club until 2017.
