Baseball cap likely to be worn by Tony Pulis in the dugout
Tony Pulis has been announced as the new manager of Crystal Palace.
The former Stoke City boss has agreed to take the reins at Selhurst Park and a signs two-and-a-half-year contract.
He will watch his new team from the stands at Hull City while Eagles caretaker manager Keith Millen is in the dugout.
The first game for Pulis, who famously dons a baseball cap, will be against Norwich City next week and his appointment finally ends Palace's search for a new chief.
Iain Dowie, Chris Coleman and Dan Petrescu were just some of the names reportedly in the running for the job which changed on a daily basis.
Pulis, 55, left Stoke in May after a highly successful stint with the Potters. He guided them to promotion to the Premier League in 2006 where they have punched above their weight and stayed ever since.
He is expected to bring coach Dave Kemp with him from Stoke, who played for Palace between 1975-76 and was Alan Smith's assistant between 1993-5.
