Kevin Phillips
Crystal Palace have re-signed veteran striker Kevin Phillips.
The 39-year-old has penned a one-year contract after a successful stint with the Eagles last season.
He popped up with many crucial goals and the most important was the penalty kick against Watford in the play-off final which helped earn promotion.
"I am absolutely delighted, I loved my time here at the end of last season and was always hoping to have another chance to play in the top flight," he told cpfc.co.uk.
"It's unbelievable for me but I am really looking forward to it and hoping I can play a great part in the season ahead.
"Everyone I spoke to said to keep going as long as the fitness and hunger is there and that is certainly the case with me."
Phillips is now the oldest outfield player in next season's Premier League - four months ahead of Ryan Giggs - and has Teddy Sheringham's all-time record of 40 years and 272 days in his sights.
To indicate how good his striking ability is, the six goals he scored in the league came from just 15 shots on target.
