A Crystal Palace XI won 3-0 against Dulwich Hamlet at Champion Hill.

Palace fielded trialist goalkeeper Peter Kurucz, 23, who recently had his contract terminated at West Ham by mutual consent.

The former Hungary international was a regular in the Hammers reserves but suffered a serious knee injury that ruled him out of the 2010/11 season.

And Kurucz made a fine start to impressing the Palace coaching staff by saving a penalty from Dulwich's Carl Wilson-Dennis after ex-Hamlet defender Michael Chambers hauled down Kevin James in the box.

The scores remained goalless at half-time, but Academy youngster Kieran Woodley fired Palace in front on 51 minutes following a swift counter-attack.

Highlight of the evening was seeing Dougie Freedman entering the fray as a second half substitute and his delightful chipped pass to Reise Allassani almost saw him score.

Eagles defender Quade Taylor made it 2-0 in the 78th minute by nodding home Jerome Williams' corner against his former club.

Freedman set up Allassani for a third goal seven minutes from time and was denied a goal himself in the closing stages after his effort struck a post.

Afterwards Allassani Tweeted: "Won 3-0 for the reserves. Scored 1 and played well :D #buzzing"

Taylor added: "Just got home from the game won 3-0 against my old club got a goal as well! #Buzzing support was class! As well #cpfc"

Palace XI: Kurucz, Akuruka, Parsons, Chambers, Holland, Daniel, Fenwick, Marrow, Appiah, Sekajja, Cadogan.

Second half: Kurucz, Wynter, Taylor, Inniss, Jerome Williams, Allassani, Sow, Marrow, Porterhouse, Kai-Kai, Woodley.

Attendance: 1,312.
