Crystal Palace drew 1-1 at home to Ipswich at Selhurst Park.

Ipswich dominated the first half, keeping Julian Speroni alert with lots of strikes on his goal. He kept out Lee Martin's effort, before Andy Drury and Grant Leadbitter fired off target, while Jay Emmanuel-Thomas had a shot dealt with by Speroni.

Scotland had another attempt on goal but Palace went in front against the run of play in the 36th minute from on-loan Norwich striker Chris Martin.

Nathaniel Clyne went on a clever run down the right, linking up with Sean Scannell, before squaring to Martin to slot home from 10 yards.

The away team were on level terms just before the hour mark thanks to a rocket strike from the left of the Palace penalty area from Scotland giving Speroni no chance.

Neither side could find a winner as Palace earned their 11th home draw of the season.

Palace: Speroni, Clyne, McCarthy, Moxey, McShane, Dikgacoi (Garvan 34), O'Keefe, Ambrose (Parr 78), Scannell (De Silva 74), Zaha, Martin.

Not Used: Price, Pedroza.

Ipswich: Lee-Barrett, Edwards, Delaney, Smith, Cresswell, Emmanuel-Thomas (Chopra 57), Drury, Leadbitter, Murphy, Martin, Scotland (Stevenson 84).

Not Used: Cropper, Bowyer, Sonko.
