Mile Jedinak
Crystal Palace midfielder Mile Jedinak admits he is still adjusting to English Championship football.
The Australian international joined Palace in the summer on a free transfer after a two-and-a-half year stint with Turkish club Genclerbirligi.
And Jedinak, who scored in Australia's 3-0 World Cup qualifier win over Oman this week, believes the step up in quality will only improve his game.
"The Championship is non-stop and you have to be switched on the whole 90 minutes," said Jedinak.
"There's no lapse in concentration there because you find that you will get punished.
"When you track back (in defence) you might think 'oh they're not going to make the run' but they will make the run.
"I found that in Turkey you could pick and choose, but (in England) you've got to be on for the whole 90 minutes."
Jedinak, who has 29 caps for Australia, said Palace coach Tony Popovic has been supportive in helping him settle in at Selhurst Park.
"He's been quite helpful," the 26-year-old added. "It's always good to have a familiar face and another Australian there."
