Crystal Palace
Crystal Palace have completed the signing of striker Steffen Iversen on a free transfer from Rosenborg.
Norwegian international Iversen signed a contract until the end of the season with the option of a further year.
The 34-year-old completed his international clearance in time to play in Palace's crunch match against bottom club Preston today.
Iversen made his name in the Premier League with Tottenham after making a £2.5m switch from Rosenborg in December 1996.
He scored 64 goals from 177 appearances in a six-year spell in North London and went on to play for Wolves in 2003, featuring 19 times and finding the net on four occasions.
He went to his homeland Norway with Valerenga a year later and then Rosenborg in 2006, playing for his first club in this season's UEFA Cup.
Palace co-chairman Steve Parish said: "The entire current management team think he is a decent addition to the squad. It's also very low risk."
