Crystal Palace
Crystal Palace have made a transfer deadline day swoop for Hull defender Anthony Gardner on loan.
The 29-year-old has arrived at Selhurst Park on loan until January 3 and will bolster the Eagles' fragile backline.
Centre half Paddy McCarthy was forced off with illness in the first half of Palace's 3-0 defeat at Scunthorpe, while Claude Davis has looked shaky so far this term.
Gardner was Hull's record signing when he joined from Tottenham in a £2.5million deal two years ago.
He should make his Palace debut in the Championship clash away to Reading on September 11.
