Darren Ambrose
Crystal Palace won their first summer friendly with a 2-0 win over Exeter City.
Midfield ace Darren Ambrose fired home both goals to continue his promising scoring form in pre-season.
He has now netted four times in the last two games after the former Charlton ace scored twice against Dorchester Town on Wednesday.
A lacklustre first half ended goalless in the match played at Tiverton Town but it sprang into life after the break.
Sean Scannell was hauled down in the penalty area and Ambrose despatched the spot-kick with aplomb.
Ambrose then made sure of the victory in Palace's last fixture of their West Country tour with a powerful drive shortly after.
The Eagles are next up away to non-league Bromley on Tuesday night at Hayes Lane.
