Freddie Sears
Crystal Palace completed their USA tour with a 3-1 win over Harrisburg City Islanders in Lancaster, Pennsylvania.
Neil Warnock made one change to the team that beat Crystal Palace USA 5-2 on Monday. Matt Lawrence replaced Jose Fonte in the heart of defence.
For the first half hour both teams had limited chances - Shaun Derry coming closest for Palace with a shot from 25 yards out.
However the game sparked into action on 32 minutes when new boy Freddie Sears got on the scoresheet again. Sears raced clear of the Islanders' defence and drove a shot past keeper Tomer Chencinski to make it 1-0 to Palace.
Six minutes later Palace extended their lead through Darren Ambrose. The former Charlton man, struck a neat free kick into the top left corner after Sears was fouled outside the box.
It was 3-0 just before half time when Danny Butterfield, on as a substitute, crossed a perfect ball into the box for Neil Danns to head home.
Wholesale changes were made at half time, with 7 players introduced, including Nick Carle, and Sean Scannell.
On 68 minutes Harrisburg pulled one back through Reuben Swartzendruber, but it only proved to be a consolation goal.
Carle hit the post late on with a fierce drive after being played in by Alassane N'Diaye.
