Carling Cup
Crystal Palace manager Neil Warnock is set to ring the changes for Tuesday's Carling Cup clash at home to Hereford.
Warnock is likely to hand debuts to keeper Darryl Flahavan and defender Johannes Ertl, while striker Calvin Andrew should get his first start in a Palace shirt after a sub appearance in Saturday's 0-0 draw with Watford.
Palace will be extra keen to avoid slipping up against their League One opponents after suffering disappointment at the first hurdle last year.
The Eagles were humbled by League One Bristol Rovers 4-1 on penalties when the tie ended 1-1 after extra-time and won't want another upset.
Hereford will be looking to bounce back from Saturday's 2-1 defeat at Leyton Orient and claim their first win of the new season.
United defender Richard Rose believes his side can thrive as the underdogs in this first round clash against Championship outfit Palace.
He said: "It's a nice game with the pressure off us, and the manager says he wants a win so we are going to play our normal game and hope we get a result.
"We are creating the chances which is the main thing, if we carry on doing that we're in for a good season."
