Victor Moses' equaliser ensured Crystal Palace ended their summer campaign unbeaten after a 1-1 draw with Leicester.

Palace started well with Moses blasting over the bar after a strong run and Tom Soares shot straight at keeper Paul Henderson.

Julian Speroni was called into action to keep out a curling effort from Matty Fryatt, then he had to push out Lloyd Dyer's strike.

The Foxes got their noses in front on 33 minutes as Steve Howard's shot was blocked by Paddy McCarthy but the ball ran loose to Matt Oakley who fired past Speroni.

In the second half, Paul Ifill went close before Moses brought the scores level on the hour mark.

The England youth star ran in field and found Sean Scannell. He beat his defender to cross in for Moses who dummied one player before blasting home with his second touch.

Ifill and Johannes Ertl blazed long-range strikes over - as did Oakley for the Foxes - while Calvin Andrew had a header bounce past the post as the match ended 1-1.

Palace: Speroni, Lawrence (Fonte 45), Hill (Wiggins 45), Derry (Scannell 45), McCarthy, Scowcroft (Andrew 45), Carle (Fletcher 67), Moses (Thomas 70), Soares (Ertl 67), Butterfield (Smith 81), Ifill (Dayton 70).
