Dougie Freedman
Crystal Palace veteran Dougie Freedman has been handed a testimonial against Fulham.
The match will take place at Selhurst Park on Tuesday, July 29, with an 8pm kick-off and will be part of Palace's pre-season preparations.
Freedman will be honoured for spending 10 years over two spells with the Eagles and it will be the perfect chance for the fans to pay tribute to the striker.
"This an achievement in my career that I have been looking forward to and would like to thank the chairman for his help in making the event possible," said Freedman. "I want to thank the fans for what they have done for me.
"Not many players have disappointing games for their club and get applauded off the field but that has happened many a time to me. I will never forget how special they have been to me.
"Neil Warnock was very keen that this match was an important part of our pre-season programme and so it was key to get the right type of opposition and Fulham coming across London fits the bill. It will be a good test as we look to aspire to be a Premiership team as soon as possible."
The ticket prices are Adults £10, Concessions £5 and are on sale from the box office at Selhurst Park. Alternatively, call the box office on 08712 00 00 71 or book online at www.cpfc.co.uk
