New boy Scott Sinclair has set his sights on finishing in the top six with Crystal Palace.
The 19-year-old winger made his Eagles debut against Blackpool on Saturday after joining on loan from Chelsea.
Sinclair had recently been on loan at Charlton but ended the agreement after hardly featuring for the Addicks.
He opted to cross South London in order to gain regular football at Selhurst Park and now hopes he can fire Palace into the play-offs.
"I'm happy to be here playing for this club," he said. "There is a great set of lads here - I've only been here a few days and already it seems like I've been here weeks. There's a great team spirit.
"There's loads of young players that the gaffer is playing and many other teams they don't do that, but we're just a couple of points off the play-offs. Hopefully we can keep winning games."
Sinclair admits he was disappointed things did not work out at Charlton but is thrilled Eagles manager Neil Warnock wanted him at Palace.
He said: "Obviously I was a little bit disappointed going there [to Charlton] and I didn't feature. I came off the bench a few times, but it just didn't work out and I've moved on.
"I spoke to the manager and he said he was after experience, but he is a good manager and he obviously knows what he is doing because he has been promoted a few times with other clubs.
"Chelsea phoned me up a few times and asked how I felt about it, but I was there fighting for my place. When the time came I thought it was time to move on and I've done that.
"I spoke to Neil before I went to Charlton and I decided to speak to my family and friends. Obviously we thought it was the right choice to go to Charlton but it didn't work out and I'm just so happy to be here.
"I was at Charlton and your confidence drops when you are not playing every week. Neil rang me and that feels good when someone actually really wants you to play for their team, so that was a big part of why I came here.
"He knows what I can do and tells me to just go out there and enjoy it and just do my thing."

Is that the most humiliating defeat in the club's history?
