Danny Butterfield
Danny Butterfield has signed a two-year extension to his contract.
The former Grimsby Town player has played 183 times for the Eagles since his move to the club during the 2002/03 season.
In more recent times at the club he has been troubled with injury problems, but with John Halls returning to Reading, and Matt Lawrence continuing as centre back, Butterfield is eyeing a more consistant run in the side.
Butterfield said: "I am delighted to be signing a new deal with the club and really believe that the current squad can continue to perform to a level that will see us challenging for honours at the end of the season.
"This was an important decision for me at this time of my career and I would like to thank the fans for always making me so welcome at Palace and we can all move forward together at an exciting time for the club."
