Jamie Scowcroft
James Scowcroft admits his Crystal Palace team-mates are determined to prove themselves to new boss Neil Warnock.
Warnock held his first training session at the club's Beckenham training ground along with with new backroom team Mick Jones and Keith Curle.
And Scowcroft says Warnock's arrival has given the players a fresh impetus as the ex-Sheffield United boss aims to kick-start Palace's season.
"First impressions are very good - he set the tone in his first training session and let people know where they stood, which is what you want as a player," he said.
"He's come in and shaken it up a little bit like every new manager would. Everybody's on their toes at the moment and everybody's got to prove themselves.
"The manager's definitely got an aura about him. He's experienced and knows what he's doing and the tempo has gone up considerably."
