Clinton Morrison
Clinton Morrison has set his sights on becoming Crystal Palace's no.1 striker next season.
Morrison, 28, only managed 12 goals in a frustrating campaign as the Eagles finished in midtable.
But despite several fallings out with boss Peter Taylor, the Republic of Ireland forward insists the manager is fully behind him.
"The boss Taylor told my agent that he did not want me to go anywhere and wants me to stay," said Morrison.
"I know as long as I'm playing and I'm on top of my game, I'm playing every week - the manager's already told me that.
"He says that he wants me to be his number one - all I can do is continue doing what I do on the pitch. If I play like I did at the end of last season, I will make that number one spot my own."
