Danny Granville
Danny Granville admits he's played his last game for Crystal Palace.
Granville's contract is up in the summer and he doesn't expct to be offered a new one after falling out of favour with manager Peter Taylor.
The left-back, 32, has not featured in 2006, losing his place to Gary Borrowdale, and now believes his six-year association with the Eagles is over.
"The way things stand at the minute I will be going," he told the South London Press. "It’s really disappointing leaving after such a long time here but it was always going to come to an end one day.
"At the start of the season I was feeling really good about things but it hasn’t turned out the way that I hoped. The manager’s bringing his own players in and that’s his prerogative.
"I’ll wait until the summer - that’s when I think most of the serious talks take place. I want to carry on playing as long as I can - so if there’s interest I’ll go from there."
Granville says his injured knee that kept him out for all but one game of last season is feeling fine again.
"I said back in August that the knee feels better than it was before - the improvement is unbelievable,” he said.
"The injury was actually bone bruising and I kept coming back too soon and trying to play through it.
"In the end it was a case of trial and error. The best thing I did was resting the knee and eventually I had a transfusion which helped the bone to heal. After that the recovery seemed to go so quick.
"I just wish we had known what the remedy was to start with but it’s done and dusted now. I feel really good and I am just looking to the future."
