Darren Ward
Darren Ward reckons Crystal Palace's win over Barnsley can turn the team's fortunes around.
Palace secured their first win in nine matches with a 2-0 home win thanks to goals from Jamie Scowcroft and Clinton Morrison.
And defender Ward, 28, believes Palace can use that as a springboard to climb the table.
"We felt as a group, not a lot has gone for us lately," he said. "There have been some disappointing goals from nothing. You've got to battle your way out of it and I think we did that.
"It may not look pretty at times but hopefully this is a turning point.
"It’s now hit us that we've got to start producing. With the set of lads we've got here, we shouldn’t be in the bottom five or six."
