Michael Hughes
Notts County dumped Crystal Palace out of the Carling Cup with a 2-1 victory at Selhurst Park.
Michael Hughes put Palace ahead in the 16th minute with a powerful drive into the top left corner from the edge of the box.
Five minutes later, Notts County equalised. Daniel Martin's throughball found Laurie Dudfield who got ahead of Mark Hudson and unleashed a rocket past Scott Flinders.
Then the visitors snatched a last-gasp winner when Martin volleyed home Liam Needham's left side cross with six minutes left.
Palace: Flinders, Lawrence, Ward, Hudson, Borrowdale, Freedman, Watson, Hughes, Reich (Black 78), Macken (Spence 78), Morrison.
Not used: Speroni, Fray, Sheringham.
Attendance: 4,481.
