James Dayton
A Palace XI side featuring Sandor Torghelle, Lewis Grabban and Tommy Black beat Bromley 2-1 in the last pre-season game.
Palace came from a goal behind at half time, to grab the win.
Sandor Torghelle had Palace's best chance in the first half, forcing a spendid save from the Bromley keeper with a header from 6 yards out.
However it was the hosts who scored first, and they went into the break 1-0 up.
In the second half, youth winger James Dayton came off the subs bench and impressed throughout. He scored Palace's equaliser and almost grabbed a second with a mazy run, and chip over the keeper - but the ball bounced narrowly wide.
In the dying seconds of the match first-year scholar Jamie Smith grabbed the victory for Palace. He struck a powerful shot in the bottom corner after Bromley cleared a Tommy Black corner.
