Danny Butterfield
Danny Butterfield is delighted to be back playing again after a long spell out of the team.
The defender picked up an injury last summer, and when he recovered, found it tough to replace the impressive Emmerson Boyce at right-back.
Butterfield, 25, was restricted to just 10 appearances last season but has recently forced his way back in the first eleven.
"When everyone was fit last season, I wasn't in the team," he said. "That is entirely up to the gaffer. But if I am playing well I will feel like I deserve to be in the team.
"I feel that I have been getting better and better every game. The match fitness has been coming on, plus the team has been in a good run of form, which helps as well.
"If you are playing regularly then you have the confidence that the gaffer is going to play you regularly. You are more confident and that comes out on the pitch because you are more relaxed and free to do what you're good at."
