Dougie Freedman
Palace progress into the next round of the Carling Cup with a memorable victory 2-1 against Liverpool.
Palace soaked up plenty of pressure in the first half, but took the lead after 37 minutes through Dougie Freedman's header from an excellent Michael Hughes cross.
Steven Gerrard soon after equalised for Liverpool, his 50th goal for the club.
But it was Marco Reich's volley on 66 minutes from another Hughes cross which won it for the Eagles.
