Crystal Palace
So Premiership away' attendances are meant to be falling due to extortionate ticket prices and obscure kick-off times?
Try telling that to the 3,000 noisy Eagles fans who travelled to St Mary's on Saturday, Palace having sold out their allocation weeks in advance.
But getting tickets for away games in the Premiership is, in some instances, proving tricky especially for the glamour fixtures.
Premiership rules mean that the visiting club must foot the bill for any unsold away end tickets meaning Palace will sometimes wait to sell out a block before requesting further batches.
Sold out' signs may go up when in reality the ticket office is merely waiting for further tickets to come through.
Not all clubs in the Premiership readily provide the statutory percentage of capacity either.
The Palace Independent Supporters Association (PISA) has been active in talking to the club in order to clarify the situation. From their communication it emerges that there is an away ticket registration scheme running requiring commitment to all games.
