Sandor Torghelle
Sandor Torghelle's goal gave Palace reserves a 1-0 win at home to Ipswich.
The Hungarian international scored the only goal of the game in the 36th minute. Antony Danze collected Mikele Leigertwood's cross-field pass on the left and the Aussie crossed for Torghele, who netted from close range.
Up till then, Neil Shipperley, Danny Butterfield and Tom Soares went close to scoring for the Eagles, while Ipswich striker Pablo Counago fired wide.
In the second half, Torghelle nearly scored with an overhead kick that was deflected out for a corner.
Counago should have done better with his effort after Lance Cronin parried his strike into his path.
Town sub Billy Clarke had a shot cleared off the line by Cronin and in the closing stages, Shipperley nodded wide as Palace notched up a comfortable win.
Palace: Cronin, Butterfield, Hudson, Leigertwood (Togwell 56), Borrowdale, Lakis, Soares, Derry (Black 56), Danze, Shipperley, Torghelle.
Subs not used: Banks, Grabban, Fray.
