Oldham boss Iain Dowie has been appointed as the new Crystal Palace manager.
The 38-year-old former Palace striker agreed a deal with chairman Simon Jordan on Friday.
The Oldham Athletic website said: "Latics officials received confirmation at around 8.15pm on Friday evening that Iain Dowie had agreed to join Crystal Palace as their new manager."
