Nationwide Division One
The dismal run continues as Steve Kember's men are destroyed by Wigan Athletic 5-0.
Danny Granville made his return to the Palace side after a lengthy injury and slotted into a back three with Tony Popovic and Shaun Derry.
The Eagles made a bad start to the game, letting in Andy Liddell to score after 10 minutes.
Former Birmingham City player Geoff Horsfield doubled Wigan's advantage shortly after the half hour mark.
Kember tried to change the flow of the game by taking off Aki Riihilahti and replacing him with young Ben Watson.
Watson had a shot shortly after coming on which tested John Filan in the Latics goal.
It stayed 2-0 at half-time, and Kember made a further change during the break, bringing on Wayne Routledge and swapping to a 4-4-2 formation.
The luck wasn't going Palace's way though, as Shipperley was harshly accused of a handball in the box, and Liddell scored his second of the afternoon from the spot to make it 3-0 to the hosts.
Only six minutes later it was 4-0, Nathan Ellington breaking a nine-game goal drought when the Palace defence allowed him far too much time and the striker curled his 18-yard shot home.
Ellington scored another goal on 69 minutes, heading in from a Liddell cross.
This result leaves Palace with one win in 13 league matches, and Kember must now be hanging on to his job at Selhust Park.
