Danny Granville
Transfer-listed Danny Granville is set to be a surprise inclusion in the Palace squad which travels to Wigan on Saturday.
Steve Kember has decided to play the former Man City defender as he has recovered from his hernia operation.
Tony Popovic could return to the starting line-up after missing the 3-1 Carling Cup win at Blackpool with tendonitis.
Darren Powell is out for five weeks with a thigh muscle injury and Tommy Black, who missed the Blackpool trip due to illness, could start.
Wigan have a number of players back in the side for Saturday's televised Sky game, kick-off 12.30pm.
Goalkeeper John Filan (ankle), defender Steve McMillan (groin) and strikers Nathan Ellington (knee) and Geoff Horsfield (flu) all return.
