Shaun Derry
An 89th-minute goal by Malky Mackay sealed a 2-1 victory for Norwich City, which continued Palace's poor league form.
Shaun Derry put Palace ahead in the second minute of the game, with a great chip over the head of Norwich's keeper Rob Green.
However in the 38th minute the hosts were awarded a penalty after Curtis Fleming was adjudged to have hauled back Darren Huckerby when he bursted into the penalty area.
The former Coventry man picked himself up and slotted the ball home to make it 1-1.
The winning goal came in the 89th minute. Norwich's substitute Phil Mulryne crossed the ball for Mackay to head home, and leave Palace without a league win in September.
The Eagles got off to a flying start in the second minute when Dougie Freedman found Derry and he lobbed keeper Rob Green from 25 yards to score.
Cedric Berthelin then parried Kevin Harper's shot and later, Craig Fleming headed over a free-kick.
Norwich equalised on 38 minutes when Fleming brought down Huckerby and he scored the spot-kick.
In the second half, a great save by Berthelin denieed Huckerby from putting the hosts in the lead.
And the French keeper pulled off another save from Huckerby again, this time a header from a corner.
Then with a minute remaining, Mulryne's cross from the left was headed home by Mackay as the Canaries snatched a last-gasp victory.
Palace: Berthelin, Mullins, Fleming, Powell, Butterfield, Derry, Hughes, Borrowdale, Johnson, Freedman, Shipperley.
Subs: Cronin, Riihilahti, Symons, Williams, Routledge.
