Hayden Mullins
Reports suggest Crystal Palace rejected a bid from a Premiership club for midfield player Hayden Mullins. Mullins has been transfer listed by Palace boss Alan Smith and he has already been linked with Arsenal and West Ham United.
Alan Smith received a bid for the youngster only a few hours after he was placed on the transfer list together with Clinton Morrison and Jamie Smith after another poor display against Grimsby Town on Tuesday.
Hayden Mullins and Clinton Morrison have only just signed new contracts but have had trouble to find any kind of form so far this season.
The Eagles boss said: There are people at this club who are not showing the right attitude and I won't put up with it any longer."
"I've tried to make real changes but I am not getting the feedback we want from the players."
Meanwhile, former Palace manager Steve Coppell has been named by Ron Noades to be the next England manager.
Ron Noades, who was chairman at the Selhurst Park club when Coppell was manager, believes that he has more qualities as a coach than Peter Taylor and Steve McClaren, who have taken control on a part-time basis.
McCLaren has only been a short time at Manchester United where they all think they are the bees knees, while Taylor was at Gillingham a few months ago when he inherited a good side and he's had the Emile Heskey money to spend at Leicester," said Noades.
"Coppell has proved himself over the years to be a good tactician and that's what England need rather than a coach."
