Andy Johnson
Palace look to move into the playoff positions with a win against Preston on Saturday.
Trevor Francis has been boosted with the news that Andy Johnson will be fit again, after recovering from a broken toe which he picked up in the Worthington Cup defeat against Sheffield United, and also Danny Granville will return after a 3 match suspension.
Tony Popovic made a surprise return to the team on Boxing Day, after recovering quickly from ligament damage to his shoulder, and should take his place at the back again.
Wayne Routledge, and Ade Akinbiyi will also be fit, and will take their place on the bench.
Preston meanwhile are languishing in 17th place in Division One.
They will hope to have defender Colin Murdock available after missing the Boxing Day defeat against Rotherham because of a virus.
Rob Edwards (ankle) is doubtful, but striker Pawel Abbott should feature after recovering from a hamstring strain to play the last 12 minutes against the Millers.
